Police to ban ladies’ night at Hauz Khas Village till Independence Day!
One twitter tweet did enough to create a stir among the people of Delhi. This twitter user who shared a story of how men were looking out to abduct women near Hauz Khas village surely made its way to the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Delhi Police.
The party hub of South Delhiites, Hauz Khas Village, is known to be a host of all the late night parties that offer amazing midweek deals to women such as Ladies Night.
So, in order to make our Delhi a safer place for women, Delhi Police decided to put a full stop. An article in Navbharat Times reads that in order to avoid distruption of law and order, Delhi Police has decided to put an end to ‘Ladies’ Night’ till 15th August.
According to South Delhi’s DCP, Ishwar Singh there happen to be a few bars and pubs in Hauz Khas Village that host Ladies Night, that distrupt law and order in the city. Thus, such places shall be asked not hold any such parties in the future.
The news spread like a forest fire and in no time, people started lashing Delhi Police on Social Media by asking them to make Delhi a safer place, they should tighten security and strengthen the laws instead of simply Banning Ladies’ Night.
